I understand the challenges chronic illness brings – both personally and professionally. I have navigated the complexities of caregiving while balancing parenthood and a demanding career.

Erin was instrumental in guiding my oncology care. I was newly diagnosed with cancer and unsure of what to do. I was given very little information from my local care team. Erin was very informative and educated me on what to expect, second opinions at academic facilities for potential research. I worked with Erin around the subject of continued weight loss. I had previously lost 60 pounds. I had done pretty well at maintaining the weight loss, but 8 pounds had creeped back on in the last 6 months. I didn't want this to happen. Together we set realistic goals. She worked with me on dietary goals, recipe sources, activity goals and mindfulness practices during our sessions and in between sessions. She was so encouraging at looking at the big picture. As a busy practicing physician, I help a great number of people every day, physically, mentally and emotionally. So, when I signed on to Erin's life coaching sessions, I was somewhat unsure of the experience and benefit. I am incredibly grateful for the chance. Her mindfulness exercises were my favorite- she is naturally skilled and talented in decompressing, relaxing and then focusing on my own mental, emotional and physical health.

I have partnered with Erin to help me with several areas in my day-to-day life. Our first session was so inspiring.I felt like I could overcome my procrastination issues. After our visit I had the motivation to accomplish several small tasks that same day. This gave me confidence, something that I had tucked away, and boosted my ego. This was an exciting adventure to work with a nurse coach! My challenge was balancing weight loss and management and I was able to get off to a successful start on my journey.
